WEEK COLLECTIVE

Eleven personal perspectives on refugee affairs to create art, political and/or educational awareness.

Week-Collective is a project in collaboration between 4th year Hacking students,
the Willem de Kooning Academy, V2_ and Wereld van Witte de With.

Since the tragic death of young refugee Aylan on the Turkish beach of Bodrum, all media coverage is strictly focused on the migration crisis happening right now in Western Europe. Week-Collective wants to create insight, and open up the possibility to redefine and reimagine your thoughts and opinions on this matter. We aim to give other perspectives and seek new ways of perception on a normally very dense subject, without losing its focus, which is to create art, political and/or educational awareness.
