A REFUGEE SOUVENIR //

A refugees souvenir is made for and by refugees. The souvenir is a symbol for support. For the refugees to show their power, strength and courage and for everyone else to show that they are aware and that they want to support refugees in a difficult time.

CULTURAL PROBE

To find out what symbol is powerful for multiple cultures I am going to use a cultural probe kit. This will be a small questionnaire based on form, materials and feeling. The first probe kit will be tested at Witte de With festival.

SHAPE
There will be multiple shapes exhibited and people have to give their opinion by placing something the can miss in the basket.

MATERIALS
Different materials are exhibited. People will be asked to fill in how the material makes them feel. =( =| or =)
